Has anything more come of Secretary Northey's request on this?  I haven't heard anything else...thanks.

I do not want our state parks to be pastures. Except for safety concerns, I have
always felt that right of way along interstates should be used to harvest
something useful like hay. Nebraska allows farmers to bale hay along I-80. Maybe
the state could rent the land to the farmers so instead of spending money to mow
they could have an income from the land. One down side is that so many farmers
now a days do not have livestock and thus no need for hay.  Jerry N
