The response time has been extended to September 18, 2008 for scoping comments.

Attached is our comments. The goal of a scoping letter is to provide issues that should be covered in a following EA or EIS on the reopening of this program not due to expire for four years. Here the program is where and under what conditions can offshore oil drilling take place that had been covered under executive order. The proposal is to remove restrictions on off-shore drilling covered by past executive orders.
