PLUGGED LINE CAUSES SEWAGE OVERFLOW IN CORALVILLE
CORALVILLE – Repairs were being made Sunday to a sewer line from the Hampton Inn in Coralville after the plugged line caused an overflow of sewage.
The overflow was reported Sunday morning after it was discovered that sewage from the plugged line was running into a storm sewer that eventually outlets at Biscuit Creek. Biscuit Creek flows to Clear Creek and eventually the Iowa River.
The plugged line only served the Hampton Inn. It was unknown Sunday how much sewage may have overflowed from the plugged line.
