Sustainable Funding RALLY DAY

Iowa State Capitol

Begins at 10 a.m. at the Wallace State Office Building Auditorium

 

Sustainable funding for Iowa’s natural resources and outdoor recreation opportunities will protect and enhance Iowa’s natural heritage for current and future generations by investing in our state’s water, wildlife, soil – and way of life.

 

Senate Joint Resolution 1 and House Joint Resolution 1 (SJR1/HJR1) have moved quickly through House and Senate Natural Resource committees and with your help we can see it pass early this session.  Join your conservation friends and neighbors to talk with legislators about the importance of investing in our natural resources.

 

RALLY DAY is Tuesday, February 17, 2009 – we will start at 10AM at the Wallace Building Auditorium to provide you with legislation background and a “how-to” regarding the lobbying process prior to heading to the Capitol for lunch (an opportunity for you to invite your legislators to lunch) and begin conversations with our legislators.
