Washington, D.C. - The economic stimulus plan could shake free some cash for developers of wind farms, although the industry still faces not only a credit freeze but also falling demand for power overall, experts say.
Congressional leaders agreed late Wednesday on a stimulus bill that creates a new grant program that would subsidize 30 percent of the cost of wind farms and other renewable energy costs.
