What Do the Birds Have to Teach Us?

What value do you put on a sandhill crane, a lupine, or a migrating
red-shouldered hawk? Aldo Leopold gave us a model of conservation that still
is applicable to this day. We will explore our role as humans and how we
connect to migration, wildness, and our sense of place. A re/read of "A Sand
County Almanac" and "Last Child in the Woods" is recommended but not
required.
