I've been a contributor to other Pacs as well that had given a lot more money than the Sierra Club's Pac has and it doesn't seem to help as much as it used to, possibly because a party in control has to live up to some of its campaign promises whereas one that is in the minority doesn't.

I agree our PAC is important and I volunteer to help with Debbie's PAC
event in Des Moines.  We will never have the money to compete with Farm
Bureau, we can  organize Sierra club members to phone bank, door bell and
do hands on campaigning for our best environmental candidates.  Phyllis
One answer to nonrespnsive Democrats is to contribute to the Iowa Chapter
Political Action Committee at 620 36th
street, Des Moines,Ia,50312 which donates to only legislators favorable
to the environment.
