This is in central Des Moines, at our home. The sound was faint, of one or a few individuals. Later in the summer, of course, there was a nightly symphony of them. (LOUD!) (I can get the coordinates of the location, probably, if anyone's interested.) So far this year I have not heard tree frogs. We'll see if there are any such sounds around 10 this evening.
