PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING ON JORDAN AQUIFER CANCELLED FOR CEDAR RAPIDS AREA

 

Cedar Rapids – A public information meeting scheduled for Thursday, December 10 in the Cedar Rapids area will be canceled because of the weather and anticipated road conditions. The meeting was to present findings of the DNR - Geological Survey’s study of the Jordan Aquifer.  The meeting was scheduled to take place at the Wickiup Hill Learning Center near Toddville at 1:00 p.m. 

 

The meeting will be rescheduled for the coming weeks. An additional meeting on the Aquifer is planned for the Fort Dodge area on Tuesday, December 15, 10:00 a.m., at the Webster County Conservation Board’s Bob Heun Shelter at JFK County Park, 1415 Nelson Ave.
