Pasted below is a press release from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources regarding a water conservation advisory being issued for the City of Schaller due to a water main break.

For immediate release: January 10, 2010
SCHALLER RESIDENTS ASKED TO CONSERVE WATER USAGE DUE TO WATER MAIN BREAK
SCHALLER - The Schaller Water Supply has a main break in the water system and is asking customers to conserve or limit their water use on Sunday, January 10, 2010. Currently the system is maintaining pressure and is keeping up with demand but customers are being asked to only use water as necessary such as delaying use of washing machines, dish washers, and other uses so that the system can maintain pressure.
The city plans to repair the break on Monday, January 11, and will be shutting the water off. The city is asking customers not to use water from 8 am to noon on Monday. Residents of the City of Schaller are in the advisory area and are being provided this information.
Customers will be notified when they can use the water on Monday and if any additional precautions will be needed.
The system is working with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to resolve the situation.
For more information, please contact the City of Schaller at 712-975-0011 or Julie Sievers of the DNR at 712-260-0625.
