We want your advice on plans to restore Hickory Ridge Wilderness Camp at Lake Red Rock
Wednesday, March 10
5:30-7:30 p.m.
At Lake Red Rock Project Office
1105 Hwy T15, Knoxville
(adjoining the Visitor Center at the dam)
Share your opinions at this official meeting that seeks public input for the project.
After a short presentation, attendees will gather in small groups to generate ideas to refine the plan for the area, determine future public uses and appropriate facility development as a wilderness camp.
Be a part of bringing this former timeshare campground back to life for use by paddlers, families, Scouts, and others. Influence the future of this area with your attendance.
The meeting is jointly hosted by the three main partners on this project: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and Red Rock Lake Association.
