MISSOURI RIVER AUTHORITY TO DISCUSS PURPOSES OF THE MISSOURI RIVER APRIL 15 IN DES MOINES

DES MOINES - An interagency, interstate group that makes recommendations on policies affecting the Missouri River will discuss a study by the Corps of Engineers at its April 15 meeting in Des Moines. 

 

The State Interagency Missouri River Authority will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the Wallace Building, 502 E. Ninth St. The meeting is open to the public. 

 

Mark Harberg of the Omaha Corps of Engineers will discuss study results on authorized uses of the Missouri River at 1:15 p.m.

 

The group will continue to develop an Iowa vision for the river.
