Tell
Boswell to stop the Dirty Air Act: We need action on clean energy not
more obstructionism.
Attend the Boswell Action April 22;
also
in celebration of Earth Day
Many of the Dirty Air
Act proposals currently in Congress would block President Obama's new
Clean Car standards, and all
would prevent regulation of old dirty coal plants—unless Congress, like Rep.
Boswell, stand up and defend the Clean Air Act.
The Clean Car
standards just finalized by the Obama Administration will cut America's oil
use by 11.6 billion gallons in 2016, saving us about $32 billion at the gas pump
in one year, according to a new Environment America
analysis.
Leading the attack in the
Senate are Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska and Jay Rockefeller, D-West
Virginia. In the House, it's three
senior Democrats along with the Republican
leadership.
We're so close to a major,
hard-fought victory for clean air and clean energy.
With Big Oil pushing and
bankrolling this rollback, your help is necessary.
