The following appeared in Today's Register in Chuck Grassley's "Grassley
asks USDA..."  So Iowa Sierra Club is pushing for more drugs pumped into
factory farm animals?  So Chuck Grassley is listening to Iowa Sierra
Club?  Phyllis

"The Sierra Club asked Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller to investigate
the two egg producers involved in the outbreak, Wright County Egg and
Hillandale Farms of Iowa, to see if they violated any state laws and if
changes are needed in laws and administrative rules. The Sierra Club
wants the state to consider mandatory vaccination of hens. Funding also
may be needed for state oversight of large livestock operations, the
group said."
