Sierra Club's new executive director, Michael Brune, will be the speaker at
the Iowa Chapter's annual dinner on Friday, October 1. We have a cocktail
cruise planned at 4:30 p.m. on the riverboat and registration and cash bar
before the dinner begins at 6 p.m. at the Botanical Center in Des Moines,
with dinner at 7 p.m.

Attend Iowa Sierra Club's
Annual Dinner on October 1st

Start making plans to attend Iowa Sierra Club's Annual Dinner to be held on
Friday, October 1st. Michael Brune, Sierra Club's new Executive Director,
will be our special guest.

We'll kick off the event with an optional pre-dinner cocktail cruise on the
Jon Anderson White Riverboat on the Des Moines River. The cruise aboard
the paddle wheeler will include hors d'ouerves and a cash bar.

Our dinner buffet, including a vegetarian option and cash bar, will be held
at the Des Moines Botanical Center, 909 Robert D. Ray Drive, along the Des
Moines River.
