Iowa's Water & Land Legacy is hosting a LARGE PUBLIC RALLY on February 9th at the State Capitol. Details are below, but we want to show our strength at the capitol and flood the rotunda and House/Senate balcony with our supporters. We are asking all organizations, large & small, to commit to getting your members to attend....10 people, 50 people, or 500 people can make a difference from your organization. If all 130 of our organizations brought just TEN (10) people we'd have 1300 in attendance! You can do it and show your support for Iowa's Water & Land Legacy Amendment! ***************************************************************************** Iowa's Water & Land Legacy - Public Rally - February 9th, 2011 Iowa's Water and Land Legacy - RALLY DAY Wednesday, February 9, 2011 9-11 AM PRE-RALLY: Wallace Bldg Auditorium-E 9th & Grand Av, Des Moines RALLY: Iowa State Capitol Building: E 9th St & Grand Av, Des Moines Parking: Free parking ramp at Penn and Grand, meters on the street, or link to other paid downtown parking ramps:http:// www.downtowndesmoines.com/uploads/pdf/map_parking.pdf -The D-Line trolley can bring you to both buildings for free: http://www.seedesmoines.com/uploads/pdf/dline_shuttle_map_9-08.pdf.
