According to the Des Moines Register,

Republican lawmakers are hunting for government rules and regulations that Iowa businesses or local officials consider too expensive or burdensome.

The lawmakers are calling the effort the "Re-open Iowa for Business Rules & Regulations Listening Tour Event with Legislative Republicans."

Gov. Terry Branstad will attend the Newton and Oskaloosa meetings.
