Cindy, wolf killers love your reasoning for taking to the skies to slaughter wolves and gas wolf pups in their dens.  The problem is who is doing the complaining and whose opinion of what animal need killing just because they exist--I resent tax payers killing what ranchers and farmers call problem animals--they should tend to their flocks and crops instead if using tax payer funded money to pay government officials kill wildlife on public lands.  I would prefer eating deer flesh to toxic animal flesh produced in toxic, inhumane ways.   I'm actually a vegan because of factory farms.  Phyllis

 

Since the subject of hunting for food and/or sport has come up, I'd like to point out that some of us support killing deer for ecological reasons.   Deer overpopulation has been described as an "ongoing catastrophe" in BIOSCIENCE because of what it is doing to natural areas across the eastern U.S.  I don't hunt deer myself, but I am grateful to the hunters who (ethically and legally) shoot does.  And many (if not most) Iowa natural areas would be better off if more does were killed every year.
