Obama's actions are a wake up call to lobby him with everything we have. Why don't you show up tomorrow, Wednesday, at Forest Ave School, Des Moines at 1:30 pm to help Karen Tigges and me with tables for an Earth Day event organized by another Sierran Jane Majors to get the message to President Obama to protect the Arctic Refuge as a National Monument. We have post cards for the kids that say " Dear President Obama, Please save the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge as a National Monument so I can hike there when I grow up." We have Arctic bird kites to make, an oil spill demonstration and our slogan is "Oil and Wildlife don't mix" We could use your help. PhyllisI am so sick of this.
