The Iowa Chapter just received notification that Jane Clark has been selected to receive the Sierra Club’s 2011 Special Service Award. This national award honors a Sierra Club member for strong and consistent commitment to conservation or the Club over an extended period of time.   Jane has been  invited to be presented this award at a celebration to be held in San Francisco in September.

Congratulations to Jane for this well-deserved honor.  We have many talented and dedicated people in our Chapter and hopefully she will be the first of several deserving Iowa Sierrans  to be recognized.
