I will also have to forego reading the rest of the editorial unless it is
posted to the list. However, I would bet that some of the people
who most need to know more about lead shot, particularly
some hunters, will quit reading after the first sentence of
the editorial. Dove hunting is rarely done in "the timber."
Harvested grain fields are the usual sites.
Those who want to have influence on conservation issues that
involve hunting need to learn something about hunting. And I say
that as a non-hunter who worked extensively on the steel shot issue in
Iowa back in the Eighties.
