Dove hunting is rarely done in "the timber." Harvested grain fields are the usual sites. Those who want to have influence on conservation issues that involve hunting need to learn something about hunting. And I say that as a non-hunter who worked extensively on the steel shot issue in Iowa back in the Eighties.
