Iowa Sierra Club Annual Dinner

Make your reservations today to attend Iowa Sierra Club’s Annual Meeting and Dinner to be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 1st, in Coralville.

Dr. Gene Takle, ISU professor of agricultural meteorology in the Department of Agronomy, will discuss global climate change, extreme weather and its relationship to climate change and our weather's "new normal."

Dr. Takle is director of the Climate Science Program within the Bioeconomy Institute at Iowa State. His research areas include regional climate modeling and assessing impacts of climate change. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Center for Atmospheric Research. 

The Sierra Club dinner will be held at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center | Hampton Inn, 1220 First Avenue, Coralville, IA 52241. Several motels and hotels can be found in the Iowa City area.
