I will be going for the 4th year to this fantastic conference. The only money I have spent is for some food and beverages So far, I am the only Iowan attending and the club can have up to 7 Iowans in our delegation. This year instead of a single national Good Jobs Green Jobs Conference, there will be a regional conference held in Detroit.  This two day conference, <b>May 10-11,</b> will feature over 40 workshops on green technology, green jobs, responsible investments, and environmental justice in a green economy.  Additionally there will be a panel of environmentalists, labor union leaders, and energy specialists.  The event is an excellent opportunity to build coalitions around good jobs that are also good for the environment.  The conference details can be viewed at  </span><a href="http://www.greenjobsconference.org/" target="_blank">http://www.greenjobsconference.org/</a><span> </span></div>
