France is still heavily dependent on nuclear power. Germany is planning to d=
o without and is emphasizing renewables instead. Bringing more renewables o=
n stream would seem to be lowering the price of electricity -- exactly what a=
dvocates of Germany' s comprehensive, clean energy feed-in tariff program sa=
id would happen, and the reverse of what proponents of fossil fuels and nucl=
