You are invited to attend our March Meeting of the Sierra Sage Group of the Sierra Club.

 

We will discuss environmental issues in South Orange County such as the shutdown of the San Onofre Nuclear Generating System at the south end of the county, the latest on the attempts by the Toll Road Authority to build the Hwy 241 extension through the Richard and Donna O'Neill Nature Conservancy, San Mateo Campground, and Trestles Beach as well as other issues.

 

We will also provide information on upcoming hikes in the area and the upcoming 14th annual Starr Ranch BBQ.

Dr. Gilbert G. Thibault with provide a presentation on the Bristlecone Pine Trees, the Worlds Oldest Living Tree.
