The Iowa DNR’s Wildlife Diversity program will be holding training workshops for people interested in getting involved with the Volunteer Wildlife Monitoring Program.
The Volunteer Wildlife Monitoring Program has two components: 1) trains volunteers to monitor raptor (especially bald eagle) and colonial waterbird nests and 2) trains volunteers to adopt and run a frog and toad call survey route. You can learn more about the program and find a registration form for the workshops on our website: www.iowadnr.gov/volunteerwildlifemonitoring/
