The deadline is rapidly approaching for Obama to decide whether he'll approve or reject the destructive Keystone XL pipeline and ignite the tar sands carbon bomb.
That's why activists are meeting President Obama and Secretary Kerry everywhere they go to demonstrate the widespread and growing support for them taking action on climate change by rejecting the Keystone XL pipeline.
We are tracking Obama and Kerry's schedules so we can organize welcome contingents wherever they go. We think it's likely that President Obama or Secretary Kerry could make an appearance in your city, so we are looking for leaders to help us recruit and organize activists on short notice in case they do.
It's critical that we demonstrate strong public support for rejecting the Keystone XL pipeline in the next few months. We demonstrated the power of our movement at the Forward on Climate rally when almost 50,000 people converged on the National Mall demanding action on climate. This is an opportunity to continue to build on that momentum.
If you are interested in being a point person or if you simply want to be present showing your opposition to Keystone XL during these events, please fill out this form.
All the best,
