This message came from the White House Council on Environmental Quality: State, Local, and Tribal Leaders Task Force on Climate Preparedness – In the President’s Climate Action Plan, President Obama committed to establishing a State, Local and Tribal Leaders Task Force on Climate Preparedness to advise the Administration on the best practices for supporting state and local resilience efforts and improving efforts to protect communities.
