If you are a user or visitor to the Iowa Wetlands Management District
(WMD), please write to Laurel Hopwood, Chair of the Sierra Club national
Genetic Engineering Action Team (GEAT), at [log in to unmask]

Laurel has been doing wonderful work on the problem of bee colonies being
destroyed by neonicotinoid insecticides that are now widely used on farms.

Please see e-mail, below.

We are working with the Center for Food Safety on an important action

to deal with the honeybee demise.
We need Sierra Club members who visited the Iowa WMD (which is in
North Central and NW Iowa)
or are engaged in hiking, wildlife viewing, birdwatching, educational
activities, etc., and are concerned about farming with pesticides and GE
crops in these areas.

Have you been there and/or can you find Sierra Club members who have?
laurel
