    at our monthly meeting:

We will discuss environmental issues and conservation issues current to Orange County Residents as well as discuss the various hikes and other activities being presented in Orange County in the near future.  We will discuss our efforts in monitoring the actions of SCE in decommissioning the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Plant.  In addition, we will present a program on the nearby  Cleveland National Forest as well as the latest on the south Cal 241 toll road extension and the Poseidon Desalinization Plant in Huntington Beach.

PROGRAM:       Debra Clarke,  Wilderness/Trails Manager, Trabuco District, Cleveland National Forest will share with us information about the local wilderness area(s) and plans for the future.  Special Note:  Debra was originally scheduled for our September meeting, but an illness prevented her from attending.  She has graciously agreed to reschedule her appearance to November 26th.
