Hi,
This article from today indicates that both DuPont (Pioneer) and Monsanto are declining to sell 2,4-D resistant varieties of soybeans next year. They do say that the companies will focus on their own next generation soybeans that are resistant to other types of herbicides but one has to wonder if there are enough health risks associated with dumping massive amounts of 2,4-D over the entire Midwest that the companies are worried about incredibly expensive class action suits?
