Maybe there are no Republicans on this list?  

Maybe there is nobody on this list who is just so tired of it all that they don’t have the energy to engage their friends and neighbors anymore?

Maybe we have been so led to the fear fountain that all we can do is repeat over and over that a vote for Bernie in the primary is a guaranteed handing over of the presidency to the GOP in the general?

Maybe somebody out there still believes we have democracy in America and all one needs to do for environmental work is sign an online petition and phone Chuck Grassley once or twice a year?

What am I talking about?  What did I miss?

A difficult read for all.  But those of us living in Iowa have a spotlight on us right now, too.  And we, the people, really do have a role in politics.  So it’s up to us to be the adults in the room.
