The Iowa Conservation Education Coalition (ICEC) is holding a special workshop on February 4-5, 2016 designed especially for the conservation profession. The New Iowa Science Standards are applicable beyond the classroom – we’ll take the best methods for learning and teaching science (at any age) to assist conservation professionals to better reach adult and mix-aged audiences. This is your opportunity to update your programs and delivery methods, no matter if your audience is one landowner, a classroom of 3rd graders, or a mixed audience at a public event. The ICEC has obtain grant funds to keep the registration costs low and housing costs are a mere $20.00 /night for the dorm-style facilities available at the Springbrook Conservation Education Center.
Registration can be completed using the attached form or by going online at: http://www.iowaee.org/Conferences/Default.aspx?id=2. Please feel free to forward this email to other natural resource professionals who might be interested in attending this program.
