TheLabor and Economic Justice Program at National Sierra Club has been involved inthe Fight for $15 campaign.  If you are in Des Moines on Jan. 28, feelfree to join in the rally.  Details are below.


At 5:00pm, we'll begin to gather at Nollen Plaza at 221 Walnut in Downtown DesMoines.  The march begins at 5:30.  We'll march to the Iowa EventsCenter, where the Republican Debate is happening and have a short program and rally. We'll leave around 7 or 7:30pm.
 
64million Americans don't make $15 an hour at work. It's time we fight back.On Thursday, January 28, Republican Presidential candidates are holding adebate in Des Moines, Iowa. Be there with us to make it clear that low-wageworkers will no longer be ignored. Iowa needs a raise. This is the year we tellcandidates that we won't be taken for granted. Raise your voice to say"Come Get My Vote!"
