He's explicitly stated the only labeling he wants is bar codes!

Thomas,
Sign your name: Tell retailers to label GMO apples

Here in the Northwest, apples are part of our heritage. From Gala to Golden Delicious to Granny Smith, our region produces over three quarters of the apples grown in the United States.

But thanks to recent sign-off by the FDA and USDA, new genetically engineered apples could be making their way to grocery store shelves nationwide – and they don’t even have to be labeled!

We have a right to know whether our apples have been genetically engineered. Add your name to tell retailers: GMO apples should be labeled!

It’s bad enough that our government is giving the green light to more and more GMO foods when we know that cultivation of genetically engineered crops has resulted in a massive spike in the use of toxic herbicides. But selling these frankenfruits unlabeled next to natural apples is even more outrageous.

Enough is enough. With new GMO crops being approved all the time, it’s more important than ever that we ALL come together to demand labeling for GMO food.

Add your name: Sign the petition calling on retailers to label GMO apples in U.S. stores!

Thanks for standing with us,
