I mentioned to a friend that issues pertaining to
sustainable and regenerative agriculture are sometimes discussed on this
list, and she asked me to post a message about the event below in
case it might be of interest to some Sierra list members. I hope
this posting is acceptable. Thank you.

I'd like to share information about the 2016
WFAN annual conference, Women and Permaculture: Making a Living in Harmony
with the Land, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5,
at Lied Lodge and Conference Center, Nebraska City, NE (a half
hour south of Omaha). Friday options include
three field tours and two on-site intensives, a local wine and cider tasting, a
local foods tasting event, and a free screening and discussion of the
permaculture film "Inhabit." Keynote speaker Karryn Olson-Ramanujan will give a talk titled Co-Creating our
Regenerative Future: Why Permaculture? Why Women? Why Now? She and other presenters will focus on how we can
create a regenerative agricultural system together. And yes, some men
do come to the conference.
