I hope you can join us on June 23 for the Sierra Club annual meeting.  The program will include a tour of the Paul Willis farm and a panel discussion on "A Sustainable Future for Agriculture".

Details are in the attached flyer.

The Willis farm is at 3319 140th St in Thornton.  Paul Willis is the founder of Niman Ranch Pork, which markets sustainably-raised pork that is not raising in CAFO (confined animal feeding operation) buildings.

The speakers are Ben Lilliston, Fred Kirschenmann, George Naylor, and Wendy Johnson.  These nationally known experts on agriculture will provide an excellent insight into the future of agriculture.

Registration begins at 11:30, lunch begins at 12:00, and the program begins at 1:00.

Please RSVP to [log in to unmask] by June 16.  The cost is $15 per person.

This is a great time to meet with other Sierra Club activists from across the state.  We already have over 40 people registered to attend.

We hope to see you there.

Pam Mackey-Taylor
Acting Director
