We invite you to join us as we share with you our recent trip to the Great Smoky Mountains.
We are all used to traveling to the Santa Ana, the San Jacinto, the Sierra Nevadas, and even the Rocky Mountains. The Great Smoky Mountains are very different with very different trees and flowers, not to mention much more moisture. For 2 of the past three years, we have led a group of 22 Sierra Club members to explore and enjoy the Great Smokys. This is your opportunity to share it with them. All pictures were taken on those two Sierra Club trips.
In addition, we will give information on upcoming hikes and Marni Magda, member of the San Onofre Citizens Engagement Panel will give us the latest information on the disposal of the nuclear wast.
