Re:  Sierra Sage Meeting with the OC Fire Watch Manager

September 27 at 7:00 PM

Santa Ana winds are in the offing and the OC Fire Watch will go into high gear.  Their volunteers are trained by Tony Pointer, our speaker.  Tony and his team train volunteers who monitor the perimeters of high-risk areas to detect threats of wildfire before they ignite. A part of the Fire Watch mission is to keep trail users safe. This presentation will provide us with information on how to identify and avoid high-risk areas, as well as what danger signs to watch for when we’re hiking.

This is going to be a most timely and fascinating presentation that you don’t want to miss.  You can join us online or in person at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo 9269 on Tuesday, September 27 at 7:00 PM.  [log in to unmask],-117.65165" style="color:rgb(5,99,193)">Register here for both in-person and virtual attendance.

See you Tuesday
