FYI, Wildlife Damage Review is based in Tucson. It is the only
environmental advocacy group working entirely on ending the
government-sponsored predator control industry. Specifically, WDR has
campaigned against Animal Damage Control (ADC), also known
euphemistically as "Wildlife Services," an arm of the Animal & Plant
Health Inspection Service, which is housed within the USDA.

Wildlife Damage Review has a website at:

http://www.azstarnet.com/~wdr/

WDR was founded by Nancy Zierenberg, Lisa Peacock, and Clarke Abbey. It
is supported by environmentalists' contributions.

ADC is federally-funded wildlife killing, operating mostly in the western
states where it kills coyotes and other predators (including non-target
species) on both public and private land for the exclusive benefit of
ranchers--receiving these "wildlife services" at no charge. Recently an
organization called New West Research obtained under the FOIA a list of
ranchers using ADC on their private lands. This list is on the web as
the "Ranching Hall Of Shame" at:

The Sierra Club has unfortunately no specific policy against predator
control, but some of us are beginning to organize a drive to adopt such a
policy. If you would like more information on how you can support our
grassroots effort, please drop me a line at:
